So, how did the weekend treat everyone?
At just over 12k end of day Sunday I'm ahead of the nano posted schedule, but behind my own goals...
I'd like to be at 15k end of day today but not sure if that will work... had to miss my lunchtime write-in for a meeting and computer problems so I've counting on writing tonight.

Mon, November 6, 2006 - 12:11 PMI had a bad, bad weekend. Only about 800 words total for both days. Of course, I was already ahead of schedule, and I've already done nearly 1100 words today, so I'm still ahead of the NaNo schedule. Like you, though, I'm still quite a way behind my own personal schedule. I wanted to be at 12K today and I'm only at 10.1. Still pluggin' away, though.

Mon, November 6, 2006 - 1:05 PMRolled into day 6 with a total of 10,015. Just a tad above scheduled minimum. Feels good. I finished last years 50k just a couple of hours under the wire, and then completely burned out on writing. This years feels sooo different. I have tons of stories running through my little brain and they keep bringing more friends over to play in there. I am resolved to the fact that I will never get all of them down in this lifetime, but I am damn sure going to try!

Mon, November 6, 2006 - 1:20 PMCool. I always wind up having a bunch of little stories running through my head, but the problem is that they're usually just that: Little. I've never written a story over 10,000 words, I'm pretty sure. So this is definitely a challenge for me, trying to fill all the rest of that space without simply doing random wandering. I'm at 10,388 right now, and I still have nearly half the day to go, so I'm feeling pretty confident, but I'm also getting to the point where I'm having to force in a lot of little detail that I usually ignore in my other stories. -

Tue, November 7, 2006 - 4:33 PMAck, you guys are making me feel bad! It's day seven, and I'm still under the 10k mark...Things just aren't flowing as much as I'd hoped. Maybe the difference is that this year I actually have a good idea on the story I wanted to write, and am trying to make it go there, where the last time it was anything goes. Hmm...
Well I'll definitely try and rise to the challenge! Can't have team tribe slackin' behind ;-) -
