Well the site is opened for signups and all the pre-november warmups, foruming, etc etc etc. Too bad so far the site is running extremely slow. So I popped over here to check on the community, looks like this place has been abandoned since the end of last year's event. Hopefully the main site gets sped up soon so there's a place for the nanowrimo community to start getting all abuzz.

I only got halfway through a novel last year. Is it cheating to write the second half this year? I'd only count the new words? :)

I'm in the same boat. I guess we could always write the remainder of our novels as "sequels"... :->

        hahah! excellent!

i do think it's a valid project, to finish the novel from last year, esp if I just count the new words. Plus, if I get to 50,000 NEW words, what a great long novel that would be. :)

Hey, from Columbia, MD. I'm not sure what I'm getting myself into, but I'm sure it's like nothing I've attempted before.

I got my note book on, and my research links... linked. I am signed up, and ready to rock past 50k for a third year in a row. Woot! And, such.

Three in a Row! You are my hero!

I have my spot at Denny's reserved for Tonight at 12:00 Midnight. My plan is cheap coffee and onion rings.

after that, my plan is to get as much done as quickly as possible. This year I have a trip planned for 11/16-22, so I need to get out in front early!

      Good luck!

      Thanks, David S
