Mon, November 5, 2007 - 11:53 AMI was a little sick this weekend, but I managed to keep relatively up to date and am sitting at about 6289 this morning, which is only about 400 behind the 50K pace. -

Mon, November 5, 2007 - 4:39 PMGood luck with it. I just wind up putting down a little here and there throughout the day. I think I've done about 300 words today at work, a paragraph or sentence at a time, and when I get home, I'll put in a good effort to try to get myself back caught up. Goal for today is 8334 to keep up with the pace!

Tue, November 6, 2007 - 11:07 AMManaging to stay relatively up to date. I was at about 7900 last night, so still hovering stable around 400 behind the 50K pace. I've added another hundred or so this morning, up to 8044, but most of my writing gets done at home, so anything I do here at work is just a little bonus.

Wed, November 7, 2007 - 4:47 AMI havent written for the past couple of days but my words have been allowing me to heal so I am fine if I dont make my goal, it is doing good other places and that is more important to me..... I'm still going to write and will post my progress. -

Thu, November 8, 2007 - 7:03 PMGod knows, I don't have any quality (yet!) in my novel, but I do have a commitment to sitting down as many days of the month as I can to keep the word count going. RIght now, I'm a bit beyond the eighth day goal-- around 13,468 total -- but tonight the doldums have set in. When I get to writing, it's good stuff, but to get to the writing part requires bribes (can you say, "CHOCOLATE"?) that I don't seem to have in the house. (Note to self: stock up before this weekend.)

But, last night, I did manage to get the entire day's quota, plus got a little caught up on the previous couple of days. So now I'm at 10,536. Run, little characters, run! And talk, while you're at it. Dialog, lot's of dialog... -

I'm trying to write approximately 3,000 words per day to catch up, but I've had it tough to get motivated. One of my cats died 3 days ago, and I'm still grieving.
