I am doing ok, although I didn't make my personal goal of 30k by Sunday bedtime.
One problem was that I thought I was about 2k further ahead than I thought - math is not my friend.
On the upside, Sunday I got into a great groove and cranked out 6k in about 2 hours!
I'm sitting just shy of 29k right now and still have lots to say so week two isn't NEARLY as painful as it was last year!
Anyone else wanna talk about their weekend's efforts?

Mon, November 13, 2006 - 9:51 AMWell, my weekend was about the opposite of yours: I wound up getting into a little writing malaise on Sunday and only managed to force out about 600 words. I'm still two days ahead of the official schedule, so I'm not too worried about the slow day Sunday, but I'm a little nervous about the fact that this part of the story is kind of dragging along to me...
Overall, I'm sitting at just under 24K right now, so still just shy of my intended 2K per day. I'll keep plodding through it...

Thu, November 16, 2006 - 10:55 AMI'm just happy a plot point that had been bothering me resolved itself: it was really cool how it all came together. I'm at 25,000 words now, but the story's not nearly half over.
