3 p.m. and I'm at about 2100 words for the day. Already past my personal 2000 words per day goal for the weekdays. Still plugging along, though, trying to make it into the 3000 word area for the day...

I got some writing done at lunch again, but last night I had a school conference for my daughter, then ice cream afterward, then the hubby convinced me to watch House and then Criminal Minds instead of working...
I'm still a LITTLE ahead of where I wanted to be, but lost a LOT of that lead... *sigh*
GOTTA get the word count back up today!

Fri, November 3, 2006 - 8:07 AMGood luck on keeping the count up there. I managed to keep plugging away through the evening. That's one good thing about living alone, I suppose. I managed to get up to about 4400 words for Day 2 alone, so I'm well ahead of goal. But I'm not going to rest on my laurels, so I already have about 250 words written this morning, trying to keep it to at least 2K per day.
Sounds like that lunchtime writing works out well for you. Maybe you can boost your count a bit on the weekend, too. Good luck! -

Good thing too as tomorrow is a total wash as we are going over to friends house the ENTIRE day! But Sunday is for writing so I' m not worried... yet! *g* -

Fri, November 3, 2006 - 11:58 AMExcellent! I kept cranking them out yesterday and managed to get up to about 6500 total words by the end of the day. I think the whole plot is pretty much sketched out now, so now it's just a matter of going in and filling in the scenery, characters, dialog, and all that kind of good stuff. As long as I can get about eight sentences of finished product for every one I've written so far, I should be golden. Now, off to get some folks talking in this here story. *grin*

Fri, November 3, 2006 - 10:00 AMI'm trying to pace myself and make myself stop at certain places. Otherwise I tend to write a bunch and then hit a place where I just run out of juice. I had 3744 (total) when I made myself put it away yesterday.
Now off to start today's. :) -
